Upcoming fantasy mystery filmLegend of the Demon Catstars Huang Xuan (Extraordinary Mission) as a poet who often dreams he is living in the era of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang (Zhang Luyi). Shota Sometani costars as a monk, and the two work together to unravel the truth behind a series of strange events that all lead back to the death of the emperor’s favourite concubine Yang Yuhuan (Sandrine Pinna).
While other couples go public (on Weibo, of course) and others get a relationship upgrade, Kitty Zhang Yuqi and her husband use this photoshoot as a reminder that they’re together too. More pictures below the cut!
Pretty, pretty, pretty – let the extravaganza of pictures in this post make up for its tardiness. This week’s shoot includes Xu Jinglei in floral for Femina, Zhang Yuqi dazzling with silver jewelry, Jiang Yiyan delicate with pretty dresses, Jing Tian in white against azure, and Sun Li gorgeous with red lips and tomboy black-and-white. Yang Mi is cute with a short bob and cute clothes; Fan Bingbing also sports a bob (and an afro). Maggie Cheung is decked out in neon pinks and oranges, (so is Gao Yuanyuan; who do you think pulls off that style better?) and Yang Mi appears again, glamorous with wavy hair for Cosmopolitan. He Dujuan is delicate and girlish for Cosmopolitan, while Ni Ni pulls off a sultrier look. (more…)
Kitty Zhang Yuqi went to Tibet and left us with a few pictures of her on camels horned animals. Zhao Liying, fresh from her role as a little carp spirit in Legend of the Mermaid, now becomes even more endearing as a silver-horned devil, and then a secret agent. Shu Qi is elegant as usual, for Bazaar; Bai Baihe seems a little disconcerted for Let’s. Li Bingbing is fresh and pretty in a green shoot for Trendslife, and Liu Xin finishes off the shoot in a leather corset and jacket. Look below the cut for more pictures. (more…)
The kids version of the Voice, with the four judges (Yu Quan, Aska Yang, and Chen Ming) pressing a button to build a “rainbow bridge” for the kids they want, and then the kids picking the one they want as a coach. In addition to lots of adorable kids, great singing, the interaction between the coaches are also extremely cute. Some highlight performances of the show far. “Singing with Kids” airs on Golden Eagle Cartoon every Sunday. You may also catches glimpses of the performances on Taiwan’s CTV, which has been airing the show through “news clips” in a similar fashion as “I am Singer.”
Wang Ruizhuo is no doubt one of the teachers’ favorites. Aska Yang has already proclaimed her to be a future queen of music. Listen to her cover of a true queen, Stephanie Sun’s “Dreams never fall.”
Only recently married, Zhang Yuqi and her husband Wang Quan’an took a vacation at a beautiful island in the Maldives. The two bonded over their movie White Dear Plain together, where Zhang Yuqi was the female lead and Wang the director. Look below the cut for more blue sky and white sand! (more…)
If Yao Chen‘s adorableness as a mother isn’t enough to make you enjoy Photoshoto Friday, then you should still look below the cut to see Li Bingbing look stunning in black and white; it was too hard to choose between them when I was setting up the cover photo. Pretty new actress Liu Yuxin, recently signed on with Huayi Brothers, also features in a lovely black and white set, and feminist Chen Ran contrasts her elegant greyscale sexy with Yao Di‘s flowery cuteness in overalls. Ren Zhong seems awed by the prettiness around him…and Zhang Yuqi grins at us in a sequined blue dress in Europe. (more…)
I really love Zhang Yuqi’s dresses in this shoot, although its (gorgeous) fuchsia-pink blooms and general profusion of flowers make me think more of spring than summer. Look below the cut for beautiful natural scenery and Zhang Yuqi’s careless elegance! (more…)
