Zhang Han, Wang Likun’s One Boat One World releases long trailer

Apart from being a cruise line commercial, One Boat One World 海洋之城 revolves mostly around the romance between a cruise ship captain (Zhang Han) and a budding tour guide (Wang Likun), and the lives of the people who work on the sea.

Directed by Chen Kunhui (My Fair Lady), the 51 episode has yet to secure a broadcaster and air date.

Promo Round-up: If Paris Downcast

Romance drama If Paris [is] Downcast 如若巴黎不快乐 (also known as If You Are Unhappy in Paris, Paris is Not in a Good Mood) stars Zhang Han as a successful CEO of a corporate firm, and Kan Qingzi as a lawyer who serves jail time for making misrepresentations to the court on behalf of her client and ex-boyfriend.

The 48 episode drama airs 2 episodes every Sunday to Monday on Mango TV beginning tonight, while VIP members get a 6 episode head start. Overseas viewers get the VIP treatment for free on Youtube.

Promo Round-up: Here to Heart

Here to Heart stars Zhang Han and Janine Chang as lovers who can’t forget about each other even after seven years apart. The trailer tells us that Wen Nuan feels partly responsible for her and Nanxian’s father’s death, which prompts her to break up with Zhan Nanxian (again).

Mix in a meddling future mother-in-law, an older sister/love rival (Zhou Qiqi) and an interfering second female lead (Zhang Jiani), and you’ve got yourself a 46 episode melodrama. Here to Heart premieres tomorrow night.

Aaron Kwok, Zhao Liying’s republican spy film gears up for premiere

Eternal Wave 密战 is the movie remake of the 1958 action spy film of the same name (Chinese title: 永不消失的电波). In 1930s Shanghai, an anonymous telegraph leads the puppet government to an important underground meeting point and the death of a skilled Communist agent. Aaron Kwok (Peace Breaker) infiltrates the Kuomintang as a businessman from Chongqing to find the betrayer.
