Celebrities field questions in Cosmo photoshoot

Liu Haoran rocking those construction worker + emergency vest colors.

Liu Haoran, Wu Lei, Li Yuchun, Cai Xukun, Yang Mi, Tong Liya, Han Geng, Kim Jaejoong, Zhai Tianlin, Yin Zheng, Gulnazar, Jing Boran, Zhou Dongyu, Xiao Zhan, Li Qin, Wei Daxun Dong Li,etc. pose as if they were at a press conference for a Cosmo event.  The photoshoot is probably one of the more interesting “event photoshoots” lately, although they didn’t even bother to change the color palette when they ripped off of a Ni Ni Gucci ad.

Zhai Tianlin, Tang Yixin fight in fashion in Miss Buyer

I tried to come up with a “measure up” pun but failed.

Tang Yixin plays a newbie fashion buyer to Zhai Tianlin’s fashion designer in upcoming rom-com  Miss Buyer 买定离手我爱你. Li Yuan plays Tang Yixin’s mentor and Zhai Tianlian’s ex. The story seems to follow a pretty generic Cinderella mold, but it’s written by one of my favorite scriptwriters, Zhang Wei (The Legend of Lu Zhen, The Legend of Ban Shu, Grow Up ), so it could be really good. Plus I’ve recently discovered Zhai Tianlin actually does really well playing slightly psychotic but mostly adorable uptight boss types, so I’m actually excited he’s doing more idol dramas.

Trailer below and character posters below the cut.

Dong Jie, Roy Chiu, Zhai Tianlin star in The Family

Dong Jie proves that you can sell the poor girl – rich boss story even at 38.

When disgruntled noodle shop owner (Li Liqun) threatens to take his three adult children to court, they agree to a list of requirements as a settlement. These include calling him every day, going on blind dates, and living at home for periods of time.  Siblings (Dong Jie, Roy Qiu, and Ren Yunjie) must navigate their own lives and find true love while sharing one bathroom between seven people in the house.

The oldest, played by Dong Jie, is a 35-year-old head secretary who plans to never get married. When her boss’s son (Zhai Tianlin)  returns from abroad, he quickly assumes that she’s having an affair with his dad while she decides he’s a pervert.  The bickering pair fights their way to love as he manages to demote her to become his secretary, while she becomes his landlord. Variety Show Recap: The Sound, Episode 3

The Sound 声临其境, as the name implies, is a variety show where viewers are treated to a feast for the ears as actors showcase their voices and prove just how important line reading is to acting. Dubbers’ contributions to Chinese dramas should not be overlooked, but it makes a huge difference when you have good actors who are able to use their own voices.

Each week, four actors are invited to dub a wide variety of characters behind the stage, and the two most popular guests make a brief appearance before all four of them prepare a short stage performance.

Disclaimer: This may look like a Zhu Yawen fangirling post, but it’s not, I swear.

Episode 3: A Gentleman’s Voice (one-off recap)

Guests: Li Jianyi, Gao Yalin, Zhu Yawen, Zhai Tianlin
