Get Married Or Not focuses on the life choices made by screenwriter Cheng Lu (Tong Yao), lawyer Tian Lei (Chen Shu) and beauty salon owner Ding Shiya (Xu Fangyi). Their potential suitors are played by Pan Yueming, Yuan Wenkang and Li Shen.

I tried to come up with a “measure up” pun but failed.
Tang Yixin plays a newbie fashion buyer to Zhai Tianlin’s fashion designer in upcoming rom-com Miss Buyer 买定离手我爱你. Li Yuan plays Tang Yixin’s mentor and Zhai Tianlian’s ex. The story seems to follow a pretty generic Cinderella mold, but it’s written by one of my favorite scriptwriters, Zhang Wei (The Legend of Lu Zhen, The Legend of Ban Shu, Grow Up ), so it could be really good. Plus I’ve recently discovered Zhai Tianlin actually does really well playing slightly psychotic but mostly adorable uptight boss types, so I’m actually excited he’s doing more idol dramas.

Starring Zhou Xun, Wallace Huo, Janine Chang, Li Chun, Dong Jie, Tong Yao, Chen Haoyu, Xin Zhilei, Zeng Yixuan, Wu Junmei (Vivian Wu), Chen Xiaoyun, Huang Ming, Jing Chao, Li Qin, Yuan Wenkang, Hu Ke, Zhang Jiazhu, Cao Xiwen, Yu Yang, and He Hongshan, I am assuming these are simply costumes for more minor characters but that in itself is pretty mind-blowing.

Historical romance drama Ruyi’s Royal Love in the Palace 后宫·如懿传, also known as the sequel to Empresses in the Palace / Legend of Zhen Huan 后宫·甄嬛传, has finally released the full supporting cast list.
I have translated the plot, character descriptions and ranks below. All the information I have gathered is based on the original novel. A word of warning that some of the characters’ endings are also included, so do proceed with caution.
