Yinyuetai have been steadily gaining love from fans since it’s opening in 2009 due to its high definition MVs and reliance. The legal music video promotion site have also gained much support from music professionals; not only are the MVs legally uploaded by the company, but fans can also use the site to share fancams of their favorite eye-candy. After realizing the popularity of the weekly/monthly V-Chart ranking among fans, yinyuetai decided to have a REAL award show (where artists actually go on stage and perform and accept awards in front of fans!)

In a music award show the performance is always the best part! So let’s start off with some cute and pretty fluffs:

Can you solve these two mysteries?

Huayi Music has announced that it would sign a new male artist who is an already famous competition(?) winner. This time, they decided to show off his voice before revealing his name. The choices given in the official guessing game are Shin, Jam Hsiao, Yoga Lin and Aska Yang.  From the choices given, Shin and Aska Yang are more likely since Shin has worked with BOBO before and Aska Yang has been trying to leave his old company. Of the four, it also sounds most like Aska Yang. But on second thought, it sounds like Allen Su without his signature style.

Can you guess who’s the lucky man to join Jane Zhang and Laure Shang’s company?

Note: This was written a while ago, on 12/23 when it was filmed, but it was actually aired during New Years. I would have posted this earlier, except I really, really wanted to find a HQ video of Wang Yuexin singing Guang. Which I did end up finding, but haven’t finished downloading.

With a dolphin pitch, Wang Yuexin’s “Guang” opened the first annual Newcomer’s Feng Yun Bang (Wind and Cloud Awards). In attendance are all of the new boybands as well as most of the new idol singers. Feng Yun awards have been established since 2001, but this is the first ceremony specifically designed for newcomers, signifying that newcomers to the Chinese music scene are coming in large numbers.

Wang Yuexin singing Guang. I practically made this post just for him, so you’d better watch the vid.
