Supernatual martial arts manga/anime hit Hitori no Shita: The Outcast /Under One Person / 一人之下 is one of several anime to be produced into an live-action. Here’s a glimpse at their martial arts choreography testing that tries to recreate the style of the anime. I’m always skeptical of adaptations but the fighting choreography looks really unique:
Battle of Memories 记忆大师 is the much anticipated film from director Leste Chen and write Ren Peng, the duo behind to The Great Hypnotist and 20 Again, and features a brand new cast in Huang Bo (Mojin: The Lost Legend), Xu Jinglei (Somewhere Only We Know), Duan Yihong (The Dead End), Yang Zishan (Happy Mitan) and Tiffany Hsu (In Love).
The Missing 绑架者 stars Bai Baihe (I Belonged To You) as a police officer whose goes daughter goes missing. She homes in on the suspect, played by Stanley Huang (Somewhere Only We Know), only to discover that he had lost all his memories in a suspicious accident.
Funnily enough, since our last round-up, Weibo got a huge boost in Western media when BuzzFeed writer Matt Stopera blogged out about how Chinese netizens helped him find the man who ended up with his stolen iPhone. The story is pretty long, but it’s a good read for anyone who likes a dose of bromance. C: Everything else in this round-up seems pretty tame in comparison.

So, for those of you in the United States: Thanksgiving is over, Happy(?) Black Friday! (How could I resist theming this week’s round up this way?) Jing Boran and Eddy Peng almost look like they could be planning their shopping strategy. First glimpses of Xu Jinglei‘s first romance, Somewhere only we know 有一个地方只有我们知道 starring Kris Wu, Wang Likun, Zhang Chao, and Nayizha, are shown in Kris Wu’s latest MV for the film. Being Xu Jinglei’s new favorite, Kris Wu is also expected to play Feng Xiaogang’s son for upcoming Guan Hu film Old Punk 老炮儿.
