Based on Liang Xiaosheng’s award-winning novel of the same name, A Lifelong Journey 人世间 chronicles the rapid modernisation of China as seen through the eyes of a pair of siblings played by Lei Jiayin and Song Jia. Xin Baiqing and Yin Tao costar.
The CCTV-produced drama is directed by Li Lu (In the Name of the People) and written by Wang Hailing (Chinese Style Divorce) and Wang Daou.
The Qin Empire IV is the final instalment of the acclaimed historical drama series, and focuses on the unification of China by Qin Shihuang (Zhang Luyi). Costars include Duan Yihong, Li Naiwen, Zhu Zhu, Xin Baiqing, Zhu Zhu and Vivian Wu.
The drama airs 3 episodes daily on CCTV-8 beginning tonight.
The latest trailer for the fouth and last instalment of the The Qin Empire TV series introduces Ying Zheng’s (Zhang Luyi) conquest in more detail, and introduces new cast members that weren’t featured in the introductory teaser. Liu Jun costars as Zhao Dan, Vivian Wu as Ying Zheng’s grandmother Lady Huayang, Wang Qingxiang as Ying Zheng’s great-grandfather Ying Ji and Ye Xiangming as Lao Ai.
The fourth official installment of historical drama series The Qin Empire 大秦帝国之天下 has released a trailer, revealing an ensemble cast filled with veterans. Zhang Luyi (The Patriot) plays the main protagonist Ying Zheng, the man who would eventually unify China.
