Timetravelling series Tang Dynasty Tour 唐砖 is the first time I’ve seen an ancient drama directly lift an already popular dance to be performed in the show. The dance, An Outing with Beauties 丽人行, is adapted from award-winning dance drama Du Fu, is based off a poem that uses descriptions of the nonchalance and beauty of the women picnicking in the spring to criticize the lives of the rich in the Tang dynasty.
*Hunan TV has been showing The Years You Were Late in its prime time evening slot since Sept 28. All Out of Love is now airing at 10pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, while Battle Through the Heavens has been moved to Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Tang Dynasty Tour 唐砖 has released a beautiful new teaser that doesn’t tell me anything about the story itself. Based off Jieyu2’s novel of the same name, the web drama stars Wang Tianchen (Youth) as Yun Ye, an archaeologist who time travels back to the Tang Dynasty during a sandstorm.
