New Madam White Snake 新白蛇传 is a retelling of the classic folk tale, and stars Sun Xiaoxiao as White Snake, Lu Hong as Xu Xian, the reincarnation of the gentleman who saved White Snake, and Zhang Tianyang as Fa Hai, who seems to be possessed by an evil spirit from his previous life.
The 48 episode drama releases 2 episodes every Friday to Sunday on Tencent. Members get a six episode head start.
Empress of the Ming: Legend of Sun Ruowei is the latest female-centric drama to star a well-known film actress, and this time Tang Wei will be playing the titular empress. Co-production God of War released its first trailer today. It was kind of boring and focused too much on the romance between leads Lin Gengxin and Yoona, but I expect the actual thing to be better given how good their previous work has been.
Other cast members include Gulinazha, Kim Jeonghoon,Godfrey Gao, Jia Qing, Zhao Hanyingzi, Yan Yikuan, Sun Xiaoxiao, and Yang Le (as Zhuge Liang!).

Along with producing her own dramas with her workshop , Ruby Lin will also serve as a producer for Young Detective Dee (retitled as Young Sherlock/少年神探狄仁杰). Bosco Wong (黄宗泽) will play the titular Di Renjie and Ma Tianyu (马天宇) his trusty sidekick Yuanfang. The drama also stars Qi Wei (戚薇) and Sun Xiaoxiao (孙骁骁) as Bosco Wong and Ma Tianyu’s love interests . The series also features special appearances from Ruby Lin (林心如) and Yuan Hong (袁弘) as Empress Wu Zetian and Emperor Gaozong of Tang.

Dare I say, the cast of Queen of SOP II is even better looking than the cast of Tiny Times.
Zheng Shuang and Zhang Han are back with the second installment of the Queen of SOP series. In this series, Zheng Shuang will be playing a double role, similar to Janine Chang’s role in Fairytale in Half. The cast of Queen of SOP II also include a second male lead I can’t find any information on Di Jie (狄杰), Jessie Chiang, Kimi Qiao Renliang, and MC turn actor Sun Xiaoxiao.
Some of you may have noticed that while Zhang Han have been busy filming various dramas since Meteor Show, Zheng Shuang have been MIA, occasionally reappearing to support Zhang Han in his dramas. But this year will be different, Zheng Shuang decided (or maybe forced by her company) to venture out on her own – she’s currently filming Mystical Sword (古剑奇谭) with Yang Mi, Li Yifeng, Qiao Zhenyu, and Ma Tianyu. Zheng Shuang have also been cast as the female lead in Jiang Hua Yi Jiu (江淮依旧) alongside Perter Ho. And apparently, there will be a Meteor Show 3 this year.
