Bromance drama Winner is King 杀破狼 has finally finished filming and it unfortunately looks like every other historical drama, with almost no signs the story is set in a silkpunk ancient world. The cast looks cute, though. The series is an adaption of Priest’s BL novel of the same name, and has cast Tan Jianci (The Advisors Alliance) and Chen Zheyuan (The Handsome Siblings) as the leads.

Titled Truth or Dare 花好月又圆, the mistaken-identity rom-com that sounds like a mix of Wrong Carriage, Right Groom and My Fair Princess stars Li Gengxi (absolutely perfect in A Little Reunion) as Xiao Wanzi, a mischievous and optimistic young girl who performs on the street for a living. Tangren has returned to the Qing-time-travelling genre with Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty, which stars Li Landi as a 21st century young girl who is able to time travel back and forth between the two eras. Her main love line will be with the thirteenth prince (Wang Anyu).

After a long drought in the genre, the team behind Qing Dynasty time-traveling romance Bu Bu Jing Xing returns with an adaptation of one of the pillars of the genre – A Dream Back to the Qing Dynasty 梦回大清 by Jinzi. The series stars Li Landi as a modern girl sent back to the reign of Kangxi, where she becomes intertwined with the lives of the various princes as they fight for the throne.
Humans uses the same English name as the British remake of the Swedish series.
In a remake of Swedish sci-fi series Real Humans, Humans 你好，安怡 (literal translation: Hello, Android), Qi Wei and Ma Tianyu head a team of conscious robots trying to adjust to the world as the world adjusts to them. The series co-stars Lin Ludi, Zeng Kelang, and Sun Anke as fellow robots, and Wang Cong, Zhang Heng, Han Xiuyi, Wu Yuyao, Chen Youwei as humans.
Two trailers released today shows the two leads’ plots. Qi Wei plays An Yi, a service robot who is actually a conscious robot kidnapped and hacked with new software.
Tangren may be attempting to recreate the classic that was Bubu Jingxin / Scarlet Heart with their upcoming period romance drama Dreaming Back to the Qing Dynasty 梦回大清.
