Sinology Sunday: January 17, 2016

This week, I am going to share some cartoons from Han Han Future‘s weibo depicting Hanfu throughout the ages as a refresher for everybody.  Also, there are comparisons with some more prominently recognized clothing from Japan and Korea to help clear some confusions.

Sinology Sunday: January 10, 2016

This week, we take a break from all the historical madness and look at some underwater hanfu.  From the weibo of Danshi Xiangsi 但使相思, if I absolutely had to classify the clothes despite not being able to see absolutely clearly the top five seem to be from the Tang dynasty and the rest seem to be from the Song dynasty.  I have to admit they do look like paintings of Chinese goddesses/immortals/apsaras/etc.
