Another Me is the television adaption of the critically acclaimed film Soulmate, and stars Shen Yue and Chen Duling as best friends who eventually have a fall out after both of them fall in love with the high school heartthrob (Xiong Ziqi). They seem to mend their friendship after growing up, and live happily ever after with their own true loves, played by Liang Jingkang and Zou Tingwei respectively.

The 48 episode drama releases 2 episodes every Monday to Thursday on iQiyi here (currently not region blocked) beginning tonight.

Shen Yue (Meteor Garden) and Chen Duling (Left Ear) play best soulmates in Another Me 七月与安生, an adaptation of the award-winning film Soul Mate. The series released its character trailer recently.  No word on airing dates yet.

Meteor Garden stars Shen Yue and Liang JIngkang reunite in Another Me 七月与安生, a remake of the award-winning film Soul Mate.  Chen Duling (Left Ear) will play Liang’s best friend and Shen Yue’s soulmate, while Xiong Ziqi plays the girls’ mutual love interest.  The series has wrapped up filming and just released this set of cute but weird animal-themed posters.

Promo Round-up: New Meteor Garden

Fun fact: Wishing upon a shooting star is bad luck in Chinese.

The latest rendition of Meteor Garden begins streaming today for two episodes every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  It airs one day before that.  I haven’t seen it around on Youtube/Viki but I presume it’ll get picked up eventually. It will start streaming on Netflix with English subtitles here beginning July 13th.

The series stars Shen Yue as the spunky female lead Shan Yue  and newcomers Wang Hedi, Guan Hong, Liang Jingkang, and Wu Xize as the bully quartet F4. Dee Hsu, the younger sister of the original Shancai, will be playing the older sister of Daoming Si.

New Meteor Garden new trailer, to air on July 9th

The latest rendition of Meteor Garden has released a finally trailer. It’s set to air on July 9th on Hunan TV.   The series stars Shen Yue as the female lead and newcomers Wang Hedi, Guan Hong, Liang Jingkang, and Wu Xize as the bully quartet F4. Dee Hsu, the younger sister of the original Shancai, will be playing the older sister of Daoming Si.

It looks like this channel on YouTube have Netflix has brought the foreign streaming rights.

“Soul Mate” is Being Adaptation Into a Series

Award-winning film Soul Mate 七月与安生 is being made into a drama called Another Me, starring young actress Shen Yue, Chen Duling, and Xiong Ziqi.  The drama follows the story of two girls seemingly destined to be together forever as they grow up, apart, and then recall the stories of their youth.  Trailer below:

The new F4 already going for a Japanese boyband aesthetic. Bets on if they’ll become a boyband?

The cast of New Meteor Garden may still be unknowns, but they’re already doing more photoshoots than most actors. They sure seem uniformly cute already. The drama is set for a summer Hunan TV release.

The teaser for A Love So Beautiful 致我们单纯的小美好 is SO CUTE. A young girl (the main couple’s daughter) narrates that she doesn’t understand how her parents interact, given her father Jiang Chen’s (Hu Yitian) cold personality. And then we rewind a few years, where we are given a glimpse of his warm and cheeky side when he’s with girlfriend Chen Xiaoxi (Shen Yue).
