Hi, Mom 你好，李焕英 is written and directed by Jia Ling, and stars the comedian as the daughter who travels back to her mother’s generation after the latter’s untimely death. Zhang Xiaofei plays the younger counterpart of Jia Ling’s mother, while Shen Teng and Chen He costar.
The film is an adaption of Jia Ling’s popular skit of the same name, which in turn is based off her own personal experiences. The film is slated to premiere on Chinese New Year’s Day.
Lost in Russia 囧妈 is the third of Xu Zheng’s “Lost in…” film series, and will focus on the relationship between mothers and their children on a train trip to Russia. Yuan Quan (The Captain), Shen Teng (Crazy Alien) costar. The film will premiere on Chinese New Year’s Day 2020.

Crazy Alien is an upcoming black comedy starring Huang Bo as Geng Hao, a monkey trainer whose act goes wrong after an alien crash lands on Earth and injures his monkey. Desperate to perform the act, he attempts to train the alien instead, though is punished after the alien regains his powers.
The alien’s plans to return home are complicated by American scientists searching for alien life and Dafei’s (Shen Teng) desire to make some traditional medicated liquor. Lei Jiayin costars as a policeman.
Ning Hao’s new film is scheduled for a February 5th release.
