Raymond Lam, Zheng Kai, Zhang Guoli all have multiple identities in thriller The Mask.

Raymond Lam, Zheng Kai play brothers on opposite side of the law in mystery thriller The Mask 也平凡.

When officer Ji Fan (Zheng Kai) begins investigating a series of murders, he connects the new murders to a 27-year-old case involving his family.  After his father Ji Tingshan (Zhang Guolin) is captured for his involvement in the murders, his brother   Ji Ping (Raymond Lam) flees abroad.  There, Ji Fan tries to find hid brother while performing his undercover task to uncover the motives and identity of a gang. Things become even more complicated than he had thought as the two brothers becomes involved in an even bigger plot.

Promo Round-up: Rule the World

Tang Yixin (The Advisors Alliance) plays Dong’ge, the most beautiful woman in the Jurchen tribes who gets involved in a love triangle with Nurhaci and his sons. She’ll fall in love with Daishan, played by Zhang Rui, and then his younger brother Huang Taiji (who was actually still a kid at this point in the original novel), played by Raymond Lam, and also gets caught up in a dangerous game of politics.

Department Six to be released

With the amount of dramas waiting for release or airing, this is going to be me sometime in the future.

Department Six has released more stills and will be releasing on June 20th.  Starring Raymond Lam, Dilraba, Alex Fong, Ying Haoming, Guo Ruixi, Huang Wenhao, He Zhonghua, and Li Dongheng, those looking for a Ming dynasty drama can probably look forward to this… and the 25-minute trailer to spoil just about everything… here (You have been warned!)

Colorful costuming for Department Six

It is time we bring awareness to Chronic Useless Distress Disorder. Those afflicted find themselves regressing into shadows of their former selves, unable to function in daily life above getting themselves into trouble and falling over at the most inopportune moments.  Other possible symptoms include miraculous survival of deadly encounters to prolong their suffering and chronic bedtime PTSD…

Department Six, starring Raymond Lam, Dilraba, Alex Fong, Ying Haoming, Guo Ruixi, Huang Wenhao, He Zhonghua, and Li Dongheng, has released more stills.  After seeing these stills, I have to say I seem to be feeling a bit better about this drama.
