To Dear Myself 亲爱的自己 is the fourth female-centric modern drama to begin filming this year after Nothing But Thirty, Love in Shanghai and Unfazed at Twenty. The ~30 episode series focuses on the careers and troubled love lives of three women played by Liu Shishi (If I Can Love You So), Kan Qingzi (The Great River) and Chen Miqi (Martial Universe).
Loosely based on Xiancheng’s novel of the same name, The Controllers stars Cai Wenjing and Liu Kai as the protagonists who work together with police to bring down the criminal organisation led by Fu Shenxing (Peng Guanying). [Extended Synopsis]
Healing romance drama From Survivor to Healer stars Shawn Dou (Tribes and Empires) and Miao Miao (Youth) as mental health professionals who must try and overcome their own traumatic experiences before treating others.
The 42 episode drama releases an episode a day on all major Chinese streaming sites as well as Youtube and Viki. VIP members get an 8 episode head start.

In the Palm of My Hand (lit.) 掌中之物 stars Cai Wenjing (Lost in 1949) as He Yan, a talented economics lecturer who is forced to help psychopath Fu Shenxing, played by Peng Guanying (Tribes and Empires), gain real power within his corporation.
Despite the lacklustre character stills, I think Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy has still got it – I love the traditional look of these new posters, which feature all the romantic pairings in the drama.
The 80 episode fantasy drama is helmed by cinematographer turned director Cao Dun, and is aiming to broadcast on Hunan TV at the beginning of 2017. New stills, posters and character descriptions below the cut.
