The trailer for Enemy 对手 looks so good it deserves its own post. The show is described as a “cat-and-mouse spy drama set in peaceful times” and features Guo Jingfei, Tan Zhuo, Yan Bingyan and Ning Li in leading roles.
The suspense drama comes from director Lu Lunchang (Little Doctor) and writer Wang Xiaoqiang (Little Doctor, Mask).
Crime Crackdown is inspired by the real-life event of a gang leader who evaded justice for almost twenty years due to corruption of the judicial system. This may turn out to be a solid drama, depending on how much the censors have edited the final product. Starring Sun Honglei, Zhang Yixing, Liu Yijun and Wu Yue, the drama is scheduled to premiere within the next couple of months. [Extended synopsis]
Ordinary Greatness 警察荣誉 stars Zhang Ruoyun and Bai Lu as rookie police officers who develop into well-rounded and responsible neighbourhood police after undergoing various hardships together with their team.

The Legend of Xiao Chuo stars Tang Yan, Charmaine Sheh and Lu Shan as sisters who marry into three different branches of the royal family, and eventually find themselves in a deadly power struggle. Shawn Dou plays a powerful general and Xiao Chuo’s true love, while Jing Chao plays her husband.
The 48 episode drama airs daily on Beijing TV. Tencent VIP members will be able to watch 8 episodes on the first day.

iQiyi’s mystery thrillers have all been messed up by censors to some degree (apparently Sisyphus went back and forth between the editing room and SARFT 8 times), so I’m trying to keep my expectations low for this one.
The 12 episode drama will be English-subbed on the iQiyi app.
Streaming giant iQiyi has bought the adaption rights to two more novels written by Zi Jinchen, the screenwriter and original author of critically acclaimed thriller Burning Ice无证之罪. Both web dramas have already started filming, and will have twelve 60 minute episodes.
The Hidden Corner / The Bad Kids 隐秘的角落 is already in production, and stars QinHao, Wang Jingchun and Zhang Songwen.
A long-suffering live-in son-in-law (Qin Hao) hatches up an elaborate murder plot to kill his cheating wife and her family after she demands a divorce. His actions are recorded by three children playing nearby, yet he soon discovers that he was actually set up by the three young children. Consequently, he begins to work out how and why a thirteen-year-old boy is able to twist the truth to his advantage.
