Never Gone releases stills of its young cast

Never Gone原来你还在这里   has one of best young casts of the year, featuring an all-star cast of Li Landi, Hu Xianxu, Li Gengxi, and Bian Cheng as the young versions of the four leads.  Here’s some of their stills. The series is set for a November 6th release date on Youku.

Fun fact: Since filming the drama, the two leads have become classmates in real life as both entered the same class at the Central Drama Academy this fall.

Never Gone releases new trailer, set for November release

I want Lan Yingying to come back as a guest actor and do a skit with Tan Jianci and Li Landi on I’m an Actor. These three are my favorites out of the two seasons of the show.

Never Gone releases young vs grown-up posters of its leads

Hu Xianxu recently fulfilled his long-standing dream of finally getting a girlfriend within a month of college starting.

Never Gone 原来你还在这里 released a new set of posters comparing the young and grown-up versions of its four leads –  Li Landi and Yang Zishan, Hu Xianxu and Han Dongjun, Li Gengxi and Su Qing, and Bian Cheng and Tan JIanci.

Pretty much everyone but the two adult leads have gotten more well-known since the series was filmed.    Lan YingyingLi Landi,  and Tan Jianci have all been applauded for their performances on I’m an Actor / The Birth of an Actor, Hu Xianxu failed on that show but did get his first girlfriend in college,  Su Qing was a hit as the antagonist in The Story of Yanxi Palace, Bian Cheng in  , while Li Gengxi debuted in her first lead drama My Classmate From Far, Far Away.

Hopefully, the release of the posters means they’ll capitalize on the hype and release the drama soon. Meanwhile, here’s a promo song by Han Dongjun:

Yang Zishan, Han Dongjun reunite after four years in Never Gone

The first trailer for modern romance drama Never Gone has been released, and stars Yang Zishan (Red Rose) and Han Dongjun (Wuxin: The Monster Killer 2) as a young couple whose sweet romance through high school and university crumbles after getting hit by the harsh realities of life outside the school yard. Talented young actors Li Landi (of cult hit My Huckleberry Friends) and Hu Xianxu (Nirvana in Fire II) play the younger counterparts.

Yang Zishan, Han Dongjun star in drama version of Never Gone

Never Gone: So You Are Still Here 原来你还在这里 is the drama adaption of Xin Yiwu’s youth romance novel of the same name, and stars Yang Zishan and Han Dongjun as a pair of high school frenemies turned lovers who break-up and make-up over the years due to a series of misunderstandings (involving money and in-laws, if I remember correctly).
