From the trailer, the main antagonist may be involved in the death of the heroine’s (Wang Ou) mother and recruitment of the hero’s first love (Deng Jiajia).
Cross-border economic crime thriller Hunting 猎狐, which began filming this week, released a pre-production teaser. Pre-production reportedly took three years, including trips abroad to make the script more realistic. It’s a The Disguiser reunion! Wang Kai, Wang Ou, Liu Yijun and Hu Jun have been cast in Linmon Pictures’ upcoming modern thriller Hunting 猎狐, a drama that revolves around the investigation of cross-border economic crimes. It’s loosely based on the “Sky Net Investigation 天网行动” that sent over a hundred Interpol red notices for mostly corruption crimes.
Chen Xiao and Jing Tian’s road-trip suspense romance Finding Love on the Journey will be airing soon, so here’s the first trailer out to get you excited. If anything, it’s definitely the first of its genre that I’ve heard of. Based on an original script and directed by Mao Weining (An Ordinary World), Chen Xiao plays a cop who teams up with a woman seeking to clear their name. The latest adaption of Return of the Condor Heroes / Romance of the Condor Heroes 神雕侠侣 has confirmed Tong Mengshi (Colourful Bones) as Yang Guo, new actress Mao Xiaohui as Xiaolongnü and award-winning young actress Wenqi (Eagles and Youngster) as Guo Xiang.
Age of Legends stars William Chan as the amnesiac Liu Ziguang, a man who returns to his hometown under a new identity and helps to bring mob boss Nie Wanfeng (Liu Yijun) to justice. Ma Sichun costars as the policewoman in charge of his case, while Chen Yao plays a CEO and single mother who has an unrequited love for the hero.
The 47 episode drama airs daily on Dragon TV / Zhejiang TV beginning tonight.
Age of Legends stars William Chan (Lost Love in Times) as Liu Ziguang, a youth from a humble background who later becomes a neighbourhood hero after helping to crush a powerful crime syndicate led by Nie Wanfeng (Liu Yijun).
