… it’s like he’s trying for a “Twilight Zone” franchise… on crack…
Yu Zheng has released character stills, a trailer, and theme song to the second installment of his internet spin-off of his palace series. Watch as ZhangZhehan, Deng Sha, and Liu Xin take on fox demons, time travel, the Han dynasty, sorcery, and modern times. The Chen family may have taken over RoCH, but the Yang family has now added Zhao Liying and Michelle Chen to the growing list of family members like Liu Yifei, Liu Shishi, and Yang Mi
Who knew that Chen Xiao could sing so well? I think I’m starting to be touched by Chen Xiao’s undying love for fanboying Liu Xin, or maybe just his voice. The Chen Xiao-Liu Xin duet, as well as more of the OST from Chen Xiang, Michelle Chen, and Zhang Jie, below. The series premiers Wednesday night on Hunan TV.
Cosmetology High (formerly the Making of a Beauty) is a surprising mix of humor and even some creativity, a refreshing change from producer Yu Zheng. The trailer also confirms my suspicion that Yang Rong is amazing and deserves better roles. The series co-starring Jin Shijia, Zhang Zhehan, Merat, and guest-starring a lot of pretty people airs on Sundays beginning next week.
Hey look, we’re actually posting on a drama that actually aired!!!! And here we were thinking dramas we post on only air the day after Yu Zheng and Tangren become bff’s.
Modern idol series Seven Friends七个朋友 stars Fu Xinbo, AK’s Andy Chen Yi and Kris Shen Jiatong, Kirsten Ren (Selina’s sister), Liu Xin (the Super Girl), and Theresa Fu, and recently finished airing on CTV.

Kitty Zhang Yuqi went to Tibet and left us with a few pictures of her on camels horned animals. Zhao Liying, fresh from her role as a little carp spirit in Legend of the Mermaid, now becomes even more endearing as a silver-horned devil, and then a secret agent. Shu Qi is elegant as usual, for Bazaar; Bai Baihe seems a little disconcerted for Let’s. Li Bingbing is fresh and pretty in a green shoot for Trendslife, and Liu Xin finishes off the shoot in a leather corset and jacket. Look below the cut for more pictures. Continue reading →

After realizing the popularity of the weekly/monthly V-Chart ranking among fans, yinyuetai decided to have a REAL award show (where artists actually go on stage and perform and accept awards in front of fans!)
In a music award show the performance is always the best part! So let’s start off with some cute and pretty fluffs:
Popu Lady, who were probably present to represent their shijie S.H.E (Best Group Award for TW/HK region) performed Lady First from their debut EP. The performance by the ladies is followed by the equally pretty boys from TimeZ and the party boys from MIC. Continue reading →
