A Dream of Splendor 梦华录 stars Liu Yifei (Mulan) as Zhao Pan’er, the owner of a Hangzhou teahouse who is abandoned by her husband-to-be Ouyang Xu after he ranks third in the national examinations. She embarks on a journey to the capital Bianjing to seek justice for herself, and helps Song Yinzhang (Lin Yun) and Sun Sanniang (Liu Yan) escape their abusive marriages along the way.

Symphony’s Romance is a remake of Japanese drama Nodame Cantabile, and stars Zhang Xincheng and Lin Yun in the leading roles. [Extended Synopsis]
The 40 episode drama airs 2 episodes Sun-Thurs and 1 episode each on Fridays and Saturdays on Hunan TV.
Lin Yun blooms in this beautiful Ikebana flower arrangement- inspired photoshoot by photographer Wu Ming. Lin Yun is currently starring in drama Beautiful Reborn Flower.
Beautiful Reborn Flower stars Song Weilong as the hero who struggles to work out which of the sisters (both played by Lin Yun) he is actually in love with. The synopsis suggests they’re two different people, but the trailer makes me think they’re the same person after all?
Filmed in 2017, the 50 episode drama releases 2 eps every Friday to Monday on iQiyi and Tencent. English subs will be available on their respective apps / Tencent WeTV. It’s also available on Youtube here.
The remake of Japanese manga Nodame Cantabile is titled Symphony’s Romance 蜗牛与黄鹂鸟 and stars Zhang Xincheng (My Huckleberry Friends) as Li Zhenyi, as a talented pianist who wants to become a conductor, but is initially unwilling to commit to further education overseas due to a childhood trauma.
