I am glad to see that the sets are grand but not to the point of being ridiculous.
The Legend of Dugu 独孤天下 has continued to release stills and I have to say I am pretty pleased. Starring Hu Bingqing, Zhang Danfeng, An Yixuan, Li Yixiao, Xu Zhengxi, and Ying Haoming, while I am still waiting on a couple more dramas that are supposed to start rolling, I am content looking at this for now.

Reading through the profile of Dugu Qieluo, you realize how well connected their clan was with a sister being honored as an Empress of the Tang Dynasty, a half-sister as an Empress of Northern Zhou, and Dugu Qieluo as an Empress of the Sui Dynasty.
The Legend of Dugu 独孤天下 (previously The World of Dogu) has released stills. Starring Hu Bingqing, Zhang Danfeng, An Yixuan, Li Yixiao, Xu Zhengxi, and Ying Haoming, those curious about the Sui Dynasty can get an idea of its founding through this drama.

Aside from the subject matter, the other thing both dramas have in common is horrible English names.
Joe Chen (Destined to Love You) and Hu Bingqing (The Legend of Qin) have been tapped to play the lead role in separate dramas that both taking inspiration from the life of Dugu Qieluo, wife to Emperor Wen of Sui.
