Funnily enough, since our last round-up, Weibo got a huge boost in Western media when BuzzFeed writer Matt Stopera blogged out about how Chinese netizens helped him find the man who ended up with his stolen iPhone. The story is pretty long, but it’s a good read for anyone who likes a dose of bromance. C: Everything else in this round-up seems pretty tame in comparison.

Kimi Qiao with a giant bear! He and Cruel Romance costar Huang Xiaoming recently showed up on Happy Camp, which ended up being one of the highest-rated episodes in recent years. You can also catch him romancing actress Xu Lu in the upcoming reality show, We Are in Love (我们相爱吧), a.k.a. the Chinese version of We Got Married.

Look! It’s Chinese, It’s English, it’s bilingual logo!

Yinyuetai have been steadily gaining love from fans since it’s opening in 2009 due to its high definition MVs and reliance. The legal music video promotion site have also gained much support from music professionals; not only are the MVs legally uploaded by the company, but fans can also use the site to share fancams of their favorite eye-candy. After realizing the popularity of the weekly/monthly V-Chart ranking among fans, yinyuetai decided to have a REAL award show (where artists actually go on stage and perform and accept awards in front of fans!)

In a music award show the performance is always the best part! So let’s start off with some cute and pretty fluffs:

BOBO obviously didn't care for a role in Meteor Garden

Despite the influx of fans spamming various forums on Baidu to argue that the “Four Hotties” of My Hero should’ve starred as F4 in a mainland remake of Meteor Garden, the top five of My Hero obviously didn’t care for a role in Meteor Garden.

When asked what they thought of Daoming Si, only Kimi replied positively, saying that he was loyal to his friends. Jing Boran replied “an useless person” and Fu Xinbo said “a bit unintelligent”. If they were Daomingsi, the first thing that both Kimi Qiao and Jing Boran would do is to get a new haircut; Fu Xinbo would start being responsible to his career as well as love; Li Yifeng would become a police officer.
