Republican mystery drama Detective L features Bai Yu as Luo Fei, a dashing detective who develops a bickering romance with recent police academy graduate Qin Xiaoman (You Jingru). They begin to solve a series of murders with the help of a gifted medical examiner Benjamin (Ji Chen).
The 24 episode web drama is directed by Deng Ke (Seven Versions of Myself) and releases 2 eps every Thursday and Friday on Tencent. VIP members get a 6 episode head start.
The Lost Tomb Reboot 盗墓笔记重启之极海听雷 announced that Zhu Yilong (The Story of Minglan) would be playing Wu Xie back in August, and has now confirmed new actor Huang Junjie (Unexpected, Fox in the Screen) as Zhang Qiling.

The Lost Tomb spinoff Sea of Sand 沙海 released yet two more trailers in anticipation for its July 20th release date. The series stars Wu Lei as the protagonist, a high school’er who becomes entangled in a suspenseful adventure after meeting Wu Xie from The Lost Tomb series (Qin Hao). They’re joined by Yang Rong, Zhang Meng, Ji Chen, and Yu Hewei.
