Promo Round-up: A Little Mood For Love

A Little Mood For Love, previously known as Xiaomin’s Home, stars Zhou Xun and Huang Lei (who is also the screenwriter of this show) as divorcees with kids who decide that they are each other’s one true love. I did like the relationships between the characters in A Little Reunion, so hoping this one is equally as good. The drama airs daily on Hunan TV.

Fun fact: Zhang Huiwen portrayed an (ex)ballerina in her debut film (Coming Home), and again in this upcoming youth film, but she actually majored in folk dance.

Rising actress Zhang Huiwen (Gong Li and Chen Daoming’s daughter in Coming Home) is co-starring with Li Yifeng in a new movie, Forever Young (literally The Gardenia Blooms). Xu Nuo (Li Yifeng) and Yan Qi (Zhang Huiwen) are a greatly admired couple in college. Xu Nuo is famous for being the lead singer for the band “Gardenia,” while Yan Qi dreams of dancing. She has the opportunity to leave the country and dance abroad, but reality becomes an obstacle, and Xu Nuo tries to cheer her up by preparing a surprise…yet this “surprise” forces these impulsive youths to pay a significant price.

The theme song was sung by Angela Wang Shiling (Dad, Where Are You?) and the director of the movie, He Jiong! Look below the cut for more pictures. Li Yifeng also lends his voice for two theme songs.  Continue reading
