The Lost Tomb Reboot stars Zhu Yilong as Wu Xie, and will focus on his tomb raiding adventures ten years after the events of the last novel. Costars include Mao Xiaotong, Hu Jun, Baron Chen, Huang Junjie, Chen Minghao, Tse Kwanho and Huang Mengying.
The 70 episode drama should drop any day now.
Titled Truth or Dare 花好月又圆, the mistaken-identity rom-com that sounds like a mix of Wrong Carriage, Right Groom and My Fair Princess stars Li Gengxi (absolutely perfect in A Little Reunion) as Xiao Wanzi, a mischievous and optimistic young girl who performs on the street for a living. Huang Junjie (Dr. Cutie) costars as the third young master of the Mei family and her love interest.

A belated round-up for the drama I’ve surprisingly watched the most episodes of so far this year. Dr. Cutie 甜医宠妻 stars Sun Qian as the cross-dressing doctor Tian Qi sent to the Ji household. When her master, the new fiancee of general Ji Heng dies of poison, she must prove her innocence to keep her job and her head. Her method? Suck up to the household head Ji Heng, of course. The unintended consequences is that both Ji Heng and his cousin fall for the cute doctor in this love triangle.

Featuring directors Chen Kaige, Li Shaohong, Vicki Zhao Wei, and Guo Jingming, the resulting segments are on average far more watchable than the other two.

The Lost Tomb Reboot 盗墓笔记重启之极海听雷 announced that Zhu Yilong (The Story of Minglan) would be playing Wu Xie back in August, and has now confirmed new actor Huang Junjie (Unexpected, Fox in the Screen) as Zhang Qiling.

Fox in the Screen 屏里狐 is set for release on November 21st. Starring Luo Yunxi, Liu Xinqi, Huang Junjie, Hao Zejia, Cui Shaohan, and Wang Chaoyang, I guess we are approaching the time of year when there should be a release flood.
