It seems like it’s now a thing for fashion event to take group photos now. This time, Marie Claire captures Yang Mi, Tang Yan, Ni Ni, Angelababy, Zhou Dongyu, Victoria Song Qian, Li Qin, Zhao Wei, Wu Lei, Cai Xukun, Fan Chengcheng, Huang Xuan, Song Weilong, Sun Yi, Zhang Tian’ai, Lisa Lu, Song Zu’er, Wang Ziwen, Chen Wenqi, Dong Jie, Tong Liya, Jolin Tsai, He Sui, and Xi Mengyao behind a window. This time we’re at Marie Claire. How does this compare to the Cosmo, Elle, and Vogue photoshoots earlier this year?
Themed Martial Hero, this photoshoot by Yu Cong for the architecture magazine Wallpaper is easily my favorite so far of the year. The photos feature model-actress He Sui and disciples and architecture from the Shaolin Temple (in case you’re wondering, although you can become a monk there, most people there are disciples studying martial arts and not monks).
Like their carefully choreographed martial arts, I love how each person is so well choreographed into their surrounding yet seems to be performing their tasks flawless in every photo.

I was feeling iffy about the film version of You Are My Sunshine, but both the character posters and the trailer have looked so good that I’m actually really looking forward to this.
The trailer released today focuses mostly on our leads played by Yang Mi and Huang Xiaoming, following them back in time through their seven years apart. It also has glimpses of the supporting cast of Angelababy, Tong Dawei, model He Sui, EXO’s Huang Zitao, Xie Yilin, Li Chen, Ma Su, Sun Yizhou, and Joan Chen Chong.
Girls, the jewels only get bigger.
I adore Amber Kuo‘s crown in this photoshoot for Bazaar Jewelry, though I won’t be able to afford it anytime soon (she and Tiny Times I & II costar Rhydian Vaughan were recently in One Road Surprise together, but don’t go in expecting to see too many scenes of them). Yao Chen‘s jewelry doesn’t look to be quite as expensive, but she still strikes an intirmidating image, and He Sui is just as eye-catching. Zhao Liying, though, takes the cake as being the cutest of the bunch, even decked out in grayscale. Look below the cut for more pictures! Continue reading
“Sorry, I didn’t have an abortion. May 1st, return simplicity to love” – Yang Mi as the idealistic Zhao Mosheng
Unapologetic for the story’s simple and pure love story (I still don’t understand how the TV version managed to drag for 40+ episodes ) and poking fun at the recent surge in films about youth love stories that are a bit too similar, the film version of Gu Man’s You Are My Sunshine 何以笙箫默 released its first set of stills this week.
The Enlight film stars Yang Mi, Huang Xiaoming, Angelababy, Tong Dawei, Xie Yilin, and film debuts by EXO’s Huang Zitao and model He Sui. The film is set for a May 1st release.
When it rains, it pours.
Liu Yifei is in black veils fro Madame Figaro – wouldn’t it be nice if she had done more of those? Zhang Xinyi is in a winter wonderland, while Tong LIya is a killer businesswoman for Grazia. Jing Tian looks ready for summer, with her dresses and skirts. Liu Tao gives off the aura of a queen for Cosmopolitan, and Xu Jinglei is mature and cool. Meanwhile, Chen Xuedong adds in a little more testerone, and super model He Sui is eyecatching in black – who wins, her or Liu Yifei? Continue reading
