Continue readingSorry I haven’t been posting much, thank goodness there’s still @xdramasx . Haven’t really been able to follow many dramas or variety shows, but I still read weibo, so here are some of my favorite looks recently I want to share with you guys.
The 355 trailer is out. Even though Fan Bingbing is billed as one of the five leads, she barely appears in the trailer. It also explains how she magically filmed the film when she reportedly wasn’t allowed out of the country during filming (because she owed too much in taxes). Looks like she just filmed her scenes in China and they edited it together. I’m impressed they didn’t replace her.
The film is set to be out on January 15, 2021.
I had somehow assumed Fan Bingbing wasn’t even in this movie anymore… but her upcoming film 355 just set a date for Jan 15, 2021. Here are the latest posters:

Known for his use of light to decorate his objects, Liu Zongyuan’s photographs often feel like they come from the impressionist school of painting. You might remember him from the famous Mulan-like photoshoot he did for Liu Yifei, but that photoshoot is not even up there among his best. He often brings an ethereal beauty to his subjects and their surroundings. Liu Yifei is probably Liu Zongyuan’s most common muse and the one who put him on the map, but he is also a frequent collaborator with actresses like Liu Shishi (who loves him so much she got him to do her wedding shoot) and Li Qin.

Fan Bingbing and photographer Liu Zongyuan paint a delicate summer scene in this latest photoshoot. Liu Zongyuan really has a knack for capturing a traditional Chinese aesthetic while using almost solely Western tools, and this is Fan Bingbing at her best.
