Hu Ge guest stars in Zhou Xun, Zhang Zifeng’s upcoming film Last Letter

Hu Ge (Game of Hunting), who recently wrapped up filming Wild Goose Lake, guest stars in director Shunji Iwai’s first Chinese-language feature Last Letterwhich has recently released character posters and a trailer ahead of its premiere on November 9th at the Golden Horse Film Festival. Zhou Xun plays the lead, a woman who reunites with her high school crush at a class reunion.

Love Letter writer’s new film confirms Zhou Xun, Zhang Zifeng as leads

Zhou Xun (Our Time Will Come) stars as the main protagonist in upcoming romance film Last Letter 你好, 之华, and she’ll be joined by teen actresses Zhang Zifeng (A Love For Separation) and Deng Enxi (The Devotion of Suspect X). Qin Hao (Legend of the Demon Cat) and Du Jiang (Operation Red Sea) have also been cast in unspecified roles.

Operation Mekong’s director returns with new action film

Operation Mekong 湄公河行动 was a critical and commercial hit when it premiered, and this year director Dante Lam has returned with Operation Red Sea 红海行动, another military action film that focuses on members of the Navy, played by Zhang Yi (Brotherhood of Blades II), Huang Jingyu (Demon Girl), Du Jiang (The Wasted Times) and Hai Qing (Midnight Diner).

Clearly the type of people you would trust with your life in the ER.

The ER may seem hectic and stressful, but it sure feels a lot better when your patients include Sun Honglei, Qiao Zhenyu, Chen He, Wen Zhang, Huo Siyan, Ma Su, Yao Di, etc.   Director Zhao Baogang‘s latest production, Young Doctors 青年医生, focus on four young doctors and their younger residents in the ER –   Ren Zhong, Zhang Li, Zhang Duo, Wang Yang,  Du Jiang, Zhang Jianing,  Zhou Fang.  The series has released several sets of cute posters for the various leads.

Fair warning: the photoshoots are a lot better than the series itself, but that may just be because I’ve only been skipping to Zhang Ze/Zhou Fang parts.
