The Sleuth of the Ming Dynasty pairs court official (Guan Hong) and secret police detective (Fu Mengbo) together to solve a bunch of cases before discovering a bigger conspiracy awaits. Liu Yaoyuan costars as the leader of the Eastern Depot.

Jackie Chan-produced web drama The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty has released its first teaser, and stars Guan Hong, Fu Mengbo and Liu Yaoyuan as a crime-solving trio in ancient China. If nothing else, at least the action sequences should be good.
The drama will begin streaming on iQiyi on April 1st.
Huang Jingyu, Guan Xiaotong, and Darren Chen’s rom-com Oversize Love 月半爱丽丝 recently released its first trailer. The film is written and produced by Eva Jin (Sophie’s Revenge) The film is set for a March 2020 release.

The latest rendition of Meteor Garden begins streaming today for two episodes every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. It airs one day before that. I haven’t seen it around on Youtube/Viki but I presume it’ll get picked up eventually. It will start streaming on Netflix with English subtitles here beginning July 13th.
The series stars Shen Yue as the spunky female lead Shan Yue and newcomers Wang Hedi, Guan Hong, Liang Jingkang, and Wu Xize as the bully quartet F4. Dee Hsu, the younger sister of the original Shancai, will be playing the older sister of Daoming Si.
