Did you know the choreography for their song was mostly designed by Bei’er?

Bei’er‘s Holiday Wish List via Happy Camp and Youku. Also watch Lu Yi, Bao Lei, and Bei’er’s performance on the Spring Festival Gala below.

  1. When I grow really old, my parents still won’t be old.  When I’m old, they’re only 11. When I’m their age, they’re only 4. When I’m 100, they’re only born, and then they’ll grow up and give birth to me again, and we’ll continue to live together.
  2. Marry a prince
He Jiong: Are there any princes on Where are we going? Daddy?
    Bei’er: My dad
  3. Always be with the prince and my parents
  4. I want my mom to say I have to wear long dress.
  5. My hair to grow longer all the time and can’t even be cut

Lu Yi, Bao Lei, Bei’er are too cute

If you haven’t watched Lu Yi‘s Growing Up 长大 yet, you should, because his righteous, sharp-tongued, soft-hearted doctor is ridiculous hot there for some reason, and this is coming from someone who’s never found him super good-looking in the half a dozen dramas I’ve seen with him.

In unrelated cuteness, my heart melted when Bei’er said on Happy Camp she wanted to marry a Prince, but the only Prince she’s met was her dad.

The family of three will be featured on CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala later today. Continue reading

Dad, where’s Photoshoot Friday?

A mini PF of some dad members. Tiantian (Angela) and Tiantian are so cute promoting their upcoming movie “Daddy’s Vacation” at the Fusan Film that I might switch ship, while Tian Liang and Cindy are adorable in a forest/school photoshoot. Meanwhile, Bei’er of season 2 puts up her hair in a bun in a beautiful photoshoot for Grazia with mom Bao Lei. Continue reading

Flashback: “The Blue Lotus”

7151f3deb48f8c54aff18b613a292df5e0fe7f5a

It’s not often that actors retweet slash MV‘s of themselves, so when I saw Lu Yi and Ren Quan having an entire conversation reminiscing their friendship over The Blue Lotus 花样的年华 (cut version here and full version here), I immediately went and watched the series.  The Republican era series, featuring custom made couture suits that made the two leads look oh-so-handsome, director-approved shipping, and a compelling heterosexual romance,  is definitely worth a watch.  Also, it uses original voices!

Produced by Zhang Yibai, The Blue Lotus co-stars the two’s classmates at the Shanghai Drama Academy, Lu Yi’s wife Bao Lei and Ren Quan’s best friend Li Bingbing, as the two’s respective female love interests. Incidentally, all of the four leads were on Hunan TV today, with Li Bingbing and Ren Quan on Tian Tian Xiang Shang, and Lu Yi and Bao Lei on Where are we going? Dad.

Really low-qualitied but beautiful opening theme:

Celebrity parents line up for future “Where are we going? Dad”

Lu Yi and his 5-year-old cutie.

Lu Yi  wants to  take  his daughter on adventures for the show

As “Where are we going? Dad” becomes the cutest show of the year,  celebrity dads are all expressing interesting in taking their “little monsters” on adventures around China.   So far Li Yapeng (daughter with Faye Wong) , Yu Quan‘s Chen Yufan (son with Bai Baihe), Wen Zhang (daughter with Ma Yili), Lu Yi (daughter with Bao Lei), Julian Cheung (son with Anita Yuen),  Xu Zheng (daughter with Tao Hong), and Huang Lei (daughter with Sun Li)   have all indicated to the press that they would be interested in going future seasons if their kids agree.

Hunan TV plans for two seasons of the show next year. Which pairs would you like to see the most? Which ones are your favorites this season?     I’m personally hoping that one of the seasons will be the currently pair and then one season the new pair.

Photoshoot Round-up, Week 4: Yao Chen is gold in gold; photoshoots from other celebs

My favorite out of these shoots is definitely Yao Chen with all of her gold gauze and solar sparkles, seen below. Li Bingbing is intense even when she’s eating noodles – so intense, in fact, that the noodles are slipping off of the plate with the intensity. That’s one of the poses she made for her recent photoshoot with Madame Figaro (you can find a few pictures from that below the cut). Also included in this week’s round up is Zhao Wei, looking elegant and composted for ELLE. Yang Mi, who appeared in ELLE in one of the earlier round ups, now hops over to the Bella magazine with a very sweet and down-to-earth style. Actor Lu Yi and his wife Bao Lei are also included in a couple photoshoot for fashion weekly, and Kevin Cheng looks meditative in the photoshoot that we finish off this round-up with. (He is also posing for ELLE, although he’s much more manly than the title of the magazine.)

News Roundup 7/2/09 – 7/11/09

This is a really big post, so check it out !

Chen Kun and Yuan Quan sponsor a jewelry brand in style at an event, with Yuan Quan in white riding a horse, and Chen Kun giving her a ring, like a modern day prince and princess, except that pretending to  marry was really awkward for them. Normally I wouldn’t care, but it’s two actors that I like, both of which whom actually have really nice singing voices and I’ve long wished they would collaborate in something like a musical. They will be working together, but instead will be in a HK film.
