Sisters Who Make Waves is a show that relies on the charisma and personality of the big sisters, so I wasn’t too fussed by the shoddy camerawork for the performance stages.

As Winter Begonia came to an end, producer Yu Zheng released a set of new stills for upcoming Tang Dynasty panorama Court Lady featuring some of the cast members who are in both dramas, including Tang Zeng, Bai Bing, Tan Jianci, and people who I don’t recognize.
For a borderline boylove drama, I can’t believe we don’t even have a photo of the two male leads together yet. Huang Xiaoming looks at the top of his game , though.
Peking opera-themed Republican drama Winter Begonia 鬓边不是海棠红 released its first full set of still today while announcing the full cast. The Yu Zheng-produced series stars Huang Xiaoming, Yin Zheng, Charmaine Sheh , Tan Jianci, Merxat, Ma Su, Bai Bing, Du Chun, Huang Shengyi, Liu Min. Gao Yu’er, Chi Shuai, and Tang Zeng.

Zhai Tianlin and Yin Zheng’s crime thriller Original Sin 原生之罪 got a surprise release date today. The two play a pair of lawyer-detective archenemies turned allies in a super shippy drama. The 24-episode series airs two episodes every Thursday through Saturday on iQiyi here.

Zhai Tianlin and Yin Zheng’s detective series Original Sin 原生之罪 released its final trailer recently, with plans to come out maybe this month but maybe not. The two play archenemies turned allies in a super shippy drama.
Original Sin 原生之罪 comes from director Raymond Yip (Cook Up A Storm), and stars Zhai Tianlin (The Advisors Alliance) as a lawyer fresh out of prison and Yin Zheng (A Chinese Odyssey: Love You for Ten Thousand Years) as a skilled detective with a hidden past. The two begin as archenemies, yet eventually team up to solve the mysteries together.
Only Side By Side With You tells of the love story between a fuerdai who spends her time designing drones (Bai Baihe) and an ex-soldier turned bar owner (William Chan) who is determined to find out the truth behind his expulsion from the army. The extended synopsis can be found here.
I only had eyes for the OTP while reading the original novel, but Qin Hailu’s (White Deer Plain) main antagonist An Ning has had my undivided attention since the release of the first trailer. Can’t blame me when she’s so charismatic. Li Xian (Tientsin Mystic) costars as the meddling second male lead, while Bai Bing (The Legend of Heavenly Tear) plays the heroine’s business partner.

The unofficial remake of hit Taiwanese drama In Time With You, Evolution of Our Love stars Zhang Tianai (Legend of the Naga Pearls) as a white collar worker who’s had no luck in her love life, Zhang Ruoyun (Sky on Fire) as the best friend who’s afraid to take that extra step, and Xu Weizhou (Addiction) as a successful executive who falls in love with the heroine.
