Dangerous liaisons in first trailer for William Chan, Bai Baihe’s upcoming modern drama

Only Side By Side With You stars Bai Baihe (Surgeons) as Nan Qiao, a cold fuerdai who has a passion for designing drones, and William Chan (Founding of An Army) as Shi Yue, an ex-soldier turned gigolo and bar owner who wants to exact revenge on Nan Qiao, believing she was the reason he got expelled from the army.

Li Xian (Tientsin Mystic) plays Shi Yue’s former colleague and friend who has a one-sided love for Nan Qiao, while the gorgeous Qin Hailu (White Deer Plain) plays An Ning, a mysterious woman whom Shi Yue owes his life to.

The Missing 绑架者 stars Bai Baihe (I Belonged To You) as a police officer whose goes daughter goes missing. She homes in on the suspect, played by Stanley Huang (Somewhere Only We Know), only to discover that he had lost all his memories in a suspicious accident.

Only Side By Side With You 南方有乔木 is based on Xiaohu Ruwei’s novel of the same name and stars Bai Baihe (I Belonged To You) as Nan Qiao, a talented and aloof fuerdai (second generation nouveau riche) who designs drones. William Chan (L.O.R.D) will play Shi Yue, the man who befriends her with ulterior motives but falls in love with her instead.

Tony Leung joins Bai Baihe, Jing Boran in Monster Hunt 2

Monster Hunt was a commercial success when it premiered last year, and now a sequel starring original trio Bai Baihe (I Belonged To You), Jing Boran (Love O2O) and cute white radish Hu Ba has started filming. This will be Tony Leung’s (The Grandmaster) first comedy in 14 years, and it’s likely he will be playing the main antagonist.

I Belonged To You 从你的全世界路过 is a romance film adapted from Zhang Jiajia’s popular short-story collection, and features an ensemble cast made up of Deng Chao, Bai Baihe, Yang Yang, Zhang Tianai, Yue Yunpeng and Liu Yan. It is also the latest project from notorious producer and director Zhang Yibai (Never Gone, movie version of Love O2O).

Leading ladies confirmed for Jin Dong and Wallace Chung’s respective dramas

A drama led by two acting powerhouses.

First off, production has begun for Daylight Entertainment’s new medical drama The Surgeon 外科风云. Jin Dong (The Disguiser) was confirmed last year as the cold and secretive cardiothoracic surgeon Zhuang Shu, while Bai Baihe (Chongqing Hot Pot) will be playing his love interest Lu Chenxi, a former cardio surgeon who has been “demoted” to the emergency department.
