Just a reminder that The Princess of Lanling兰陵王妃 will be releasing on September 29th. Starring Andy Chen Yi,Zhang Hanyun, and Peng Guanying, these are the last of the materials I have been able to gather for this drama so far.
The Princess of Lanling兰陵王妃 has a release date set for September 29th. Starring Andy Chen Yi,Zhang Hanyun, and Peng Guanying, for those who have been waiting on this, the wait seems to have finally ended.
The cover for Northern Zhou’s Vogue magazine for next week.
The Princess of Lanling has released red-costumed stills just in time for Chinese New Year, starringZhang Hanyun, Peng Guanying, and Andy Chen Yi. These stills give us a closer look at the embroidery and details that go into the grander costumes in this production as well as the backgrounds and filming locations.
This is historical period-discrimination!! You can’t make ALL Tang dynasty dramas have big heads!!
Legendary Di Renjie, starring Ren Jialun, Kan Qingzi, Andy Chen Yi, Jiao Junyan, and Theresa Fu. has released another trailer because one is not enough. Watch and let me know how many props from other dramas you can spot. So far, I am seeing some pieces from Ruby Lin’s own Young Detective Dee and even a piece from The Empress of China. What else can you spot?
In order to compete with Twilight, fans are requesting a picture of your face for their Team Lanling Wang and Team Yuwen Yong shirts.
StarringZhang Hanyun, Peng Guanying, and Andy Chen Yi, be prepared for more of the shipping triangle between Yuwen Yong, the Prince of Lanling, and a hopelessly idealistic heroine with The Princess of Lanling‘s new long trailer. The trailer reveals more about the plot and will hopefully help us better gauge what to expect.
More stills below the cut because we simply can’t resist.
Even if his prettiness isn’t enough to draw our attention away from the girls’ costumes, I figured Andy Chen deserves a chance at above the cut since he is the lead.
The gorgeously-costumed The Princess of Orchid Hills 兰陵皇妃 finally released a trailer. It’s obvious even from the trailer that Peng Guanying‘s acting pwns that of the other three leads – Zhang Hanyun, Andy Chen Yi, and Theresa Fu – but I’ll be happy to just watch the series for how pretty everything (including the leads) looks. Also, you might want to turn off the sound because the narrator makes it sound like a horror film.
Hey look, we’re actually posting on a drama that actually aired!!!! And here we were thinking dramas we post on only air the day after Yu Zheng and Tangren become bff’s.
Modern idol series Seven Friends七个朋友 stars Fu Xinbo, AK’s Andy Chen Yi and Kris Shen Jiatong, Kirsten Ren (Selina’s sister), Liu Xin (the Super Girl), and Theresa Fu, and recently finished airing on CTV.
Opening sung by the septet composed by Liu Xin below the cut, and the full series (minus first two eps) here.
I pray… like I have never prayed before… for the release of this drama… or at least a trailer….
While we ooh and ah over the stills of other period dramas (and curse the lack of episodes), The Princess of Lanling兰陵王妃 has been feeling largely left out on the attention. Therefore, the show took it upon itself to release quality stills of their more exquisite costumes. Starring Andy Chen Yi (whose drama Seven Friends just aired on CTV),Zhang Hanyun, and Peng Guanying, the series hopes to prove that the Prince of Orchid Hills is not out of fashion and still something to moon over, lady-killing since last year.
Kuo, I think you mentioned that it seems the stylist liked light colors? They love those of us at Cfensi a lot, and decided to prove us wrong…
Did you think that Zhang Hanyu‘s peacock costume was stunning? There’s more to come. Here’s to a stunning wedding photo shoot from The Princess of Orchid Hills. One wonder who she’s dressed out for: at some point, she marries Yuwen Yong and becomes his empress. There won’t be a shortage of romantic entanglements here; the number one beauty of the Western Qi is Xiao Luoyun (played by Wang Jiexi), the fiancée of the very adorable Prince of Lanling (Andy Yi Chen). Coming on with an unrequited love for Yuwen Yong is Hua Yihan‘s Yan Wan – and on top of that, we’re throwing in the Mongolian Princess Ashina, played by Theresa Fu.
Read an introduction here. Look below the cut for more pictures – even if you don’t plan on watching the series, there’s tons of eye candy to be admired… Continue reading →
