XDRAMAsX’s 2021 Drama Review

I dropped Song of Youth within 30 minutes after realising the show wasn’t the female ensemble it promoted itself to be, but Lamu Yangzi’s imitation of Luoshen is just too hilarious not to post.

2021 seemed to be a year where the drama in C-ent was more gripping than the fictional stories playing out onscreen, but I still went through a fair share of interesting television shows. Which ones did you love the most or love to hate the most?

Ancient Love Poetry showcases amazing CGI in first trailer

The best CGI I’ve seen since 2018’s Ashes of Love. Phenom Films was responsible for the post-production of films Mojin: The Lost Legend and Ne Zha.

To be honest, I’m probably going to check out the first couple of episodes of Ancient Love Poetry for the special effects alone. Starring Zhou Dongyu and Xu Kai, the drama will focus on the 10,000+ year romance between two powerful deities and will stream on Tencent next year. [Extended Synopsis]
