Tencent’s upcoming big-budget acting variety show Attention, Actors 演员请就位 (lit.) has hired directors Li Shaohong (Palace of Desires, Dream of Red Mansions 2010), Chen Kaige (Farewell My Concubine, Legend of the Demon Cat), Guo Jingming (Tiny Times, L.O.R.D) and Zhao Wei (So Young) as judges who will assemble their own team from a group of 58 actors.

Starring Ju Jingyi, Aaron Yan, Zhang Yuxi, Han Dong, Merxat, and Wang Yitong, the series airs every Tuesday-Saturdays on Tencent here today (so far not region blocked) . More stills, trailer, and a weird official plot that seems to have nothing to do with the drama here.

Prison break action flick or inspirational female educational-attainment film? Either way, it’ll probably end up being mostly a romance.
In what looks like Prison Break meets Orange is the New Black, Ju Jingyi, Aaron Yan, Zhang Yuxi, Han Dong, and Merxat star in Republican-era Please Give Me a Pair of Wings 请赐我一双翅膀. There are two versions of the plot, both from very official sources, so I’m not sure which one is real, but one that the Baidu Baike and the trailer seem to suggest the series features the female lead hanging out and eventually teaming up with other prisoners to break out of jail after being accused of murder while her friends try to clear her name from the outside.

Wallace Chung plays Lu Fei, an up-and-coming director who returns from the US to film a movie based on the story of his first love Xin Chen (Jiang Shuying), as well as rekindle their relationship after discovering that a small misunderstanding has kept them apart for a decade. Aaron Yan costars as a university friend who has a secret crush on Xin Chen.
Blooming Flowers Shall Send Us On Our Way / Memories of Love will run for 30 episodes (hooray for a drama with <50 episodes) beginning tonight.

The legal music video promotion site have also gained much support from music professionals; not only are the MVs legally uploaded by the company, but fans can also use the site to share fancams of their favorite eye-candy. After realizing the popularity of the weekly/monthly V-Chart ranking among fans, yinyuetai decided to have a REAL award show (where artists actually go on stage and perform and accept awards in front of fans!)
