Upcoming melo romance Faraway Beauty 玉骨遥 (literal translation) stars Ren Min as Zhuyan, a princess of Kongsang empire who escapes from an arranged marriage. Xiao Zhan plays Shiying, a prince of the Kingdom of Kongsang who is banished to the remote mountains and ends up as her teacher and love interest.
Directed by Jiang Jiajun (The Legend of Xiao Chuo) and written by Wu Yingying (The Wife’s Lies, Bubu Jingqing), the Tencent series is a very loose adaption of Cang Yue’s fantasy romance novel Zhuyan.
