Sun Honglei, Zhang Yixing, Liu Yijun’s crime drama releases stills

As the name suggests, Crime Crackdown 扫黑风暴 will focus on the crackdown on organised crime led by former detective Li Chengyang (Sun Honglei). Zhang Yixing and Liu Yijun costar as police officers.

The drama is inspired by the real life-cases of a gang leader who evaded justice due to corruption and the discovery of the body of a maintenance staff member under the school oval.

The 40 episode drama is directed by Wu Bai (Sisyphus, Sniper) and recently wrapped up filming.
