Acclaimed melodrama Too Late To Say I Love You costars Wallace Chung and Li Xiaoran will be playing reunited lovers in A Chance Meeting 往后余生 (今生有你), an adaption of Feiwo Sicun’s novel of the same name.

Tan Jing is a single mother who works hard to save up money for her son’s heart surgery, while Nie Yusheng is the doctor responsible for her son’s treatment.

Along the way, Nie Yusheng discovers that his young patient’s mother is his ex-lover from seven years ago, and the standard rekindled romance story begins. Given the drama is based off Feiwo Sicun’s (Goodbye My Princess, Siege in Fog) work, I’m expecting plenty of angst and tears.

The drama is directed by Liu Junjie (Symphony’s Romance) and written by Bai Bangni (My Love, Enlighten Me).
