Rebirth For You 慕南枝 stars Ju Jingyi (Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion) as Jiang Baoning, daughter of a fallen noble family who eventually marries prince Li Qian (Zeng Shunxi) and becomes empress.

The original storyline involved the kingdom’s dowager empress being reborn into the body of a young girl – not sure if that will still be kept in the drama adaption.

Directed by Zhi Lei (In A Class Of Her Own), the drama is still in the midst of filming.
