Early Friday Photos: All Chinese New Year films that are now delayed

This photoshoot was scheduled to feature photoshoots and posters promoting this year’s Chinese New Year films, but they have now all been delayed indefinitely due to the coronavirus. This includes a return of almost 1 billion (1000 million) RMB in ticket presales in what was hoping to be the biggest Chinese New Year box office in history.

  1. Very unfortunate for this to happen right around the Lunar New Year. But it’s a sensible decision on the filmmakers’ part to postpone their movies. Public safety is more important. And frankly, I don’t think anyone would be willing to go to a movie theaters currently due to the virus outbreak.
