The National Southwest Associated University and Us 我们的西南联大 is set during the Second Sino-Japanese War, and stars Wang Hedi (Meteor Garden 2018) and Zhou Ye (Better Days) in the leading roles.
Southwest University was a merger of Peking University, Tsinghua University and Nankai University, and is known for producing some of the most prestigious Chinese scholars of its time. The coming-of-age story of the university can also be seen in Li Fangfang’s Forever Young.
Directed by Gao Yijun (The Empress of China) and written by Zhou Yu (Age of Legends) and Zhang Chanjuan, the drama recently wrapped up filming.
