Set in the Tang Dynasty, fantasy campus rom-com Dance of the Sky Empire 天舞纪 is based on the novel of the same name by Bu Feiyan. Xu Kai (Lingjian Mountain) plays the half-human half-demon hero who must save the world, while Wu Jiayi (Novoland: Eagle Flag) costars as a spy for the demons.
Directed by Zhao Jintao (Cinderella Chef), the web drama is set to stream on iQiyi next year.
