Zhou Dongyu, Yi Yangqianxi’s Better Days to screen overseas

Starring Zhou Dongyu and Yi Yangqianxi, Better Days has been receiving rave reviews for its focus on the real social issue of bullying, slick directing and wonderful acting.

Only after seeing Zhou Dongyu in both Sparrow and Soul Mate did I realise how important it was to have a good director at the helm.

However, the film and source novel have also been accused of plagiarising Keigo Higashino’s Journey Under the Midnight Sun and Devotion of Suspect X.

Better Days screens in select cinemas in the US, UK, Australia and New Zealand on November 8th.
