The film adaptation of Xiao Ding’s xianxia novel of the same name, Jade Dynasty 诛仙 stars Xiao Zhan (The Untamed) as the ordinary protagonist who gets embroiled in the battle between good and evil.
Li Qin (Ruyi’s Royal Love) and Rocket Girls’ idol Meng Meiqi play his love interests Lu Xueqi and Biyao respectively. Tang Yixin guest stars as Tian Ling’er.
Directed by Cheng Xiaodong (The Sorcerer and the White Snake) and written by Shen Jie (Feather Flies to the Sky), the film is set to premiere on September 12th.

the hairstyle for BY is ugly i guess they favor Li Qin so gave her a better look… :/ favoritism here they sure want ppl to bash on the girl that plays BY.
its an interesting webnovel as it is considered among the founders/beginning of Xianxia genre. i tend to think Xiao Ding was unfair to Biyao. IMHO these relatively long stories ( this one approached around 1M characters = 3 to 4 Harry Potter for example ) including most of Wuxia are more suitable for TV series to truly get a feel for the original if done properly.
i read some where in part Lu xueqi is after his real wife. at least in beauty if not personality.
