The official Instagram of 355 the movie has added Super–Vocal star Cai Yao into its nine-people follow list, which had previously included the five female leads Fan Bingbing, Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, and Lupita Nyong’o in addition to Sebastian Stan, Edgar Ramirez, and director Simon Kinberg.
I’m probably one of the two people who watch Chinese entertainment but haven’t watched Super Vocal, so I don’t know much about him, but he is 20-years-old and 193 cm. Here’s him performing English song Over the Rainbow.
The film’s official Instagram also posted a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for the film. Filming reportedly begins this or next week.
Wow I am pretty shocked at this development! He didn’t have much screen time in Super Vocal, but this seems like a decent gig. Any idea how large a role he will have?

Yes, he is (at least) 197cm, but he always doesn’t want to admit he is so tall and always announces he is only 180cm lol. But except the ins following there is no official announcement that he will join 355, we can just hope that’s real.
Ooh I remember him from Super Vocal! I remember thinking that his voice was really lovely and that he was much more comfortable singing in Chinese lol.
