Upcoming heartwarming medical drama Healer of Children了不起的儿科医生 stars Chen Xiao (Red Rose) as Deng Zi’ang, a genius pediatrician who seems like he’s inherited all the problems a fu’erdai would have, yet is always trustworthy and responsible when it comes to his job. Wang Ziwen (Ode to Joy 2) costars as an enthusiastic new doctor who joins his team.
Jiao Jiaren (Wang Ziwen) was saved by pediatrician Gu Lifeng as a child, and followed in his footsteps as a young adult. Aware of her talent and potential, Gu Lifeng, now the director of the top children’s hospital in the city, bends the rules to take her in as a registrar. Surrounded by a group of elite specialists at her new workplace, Jiao Jiaren is no longer the cream of the crop and works extra hard to make up for the gap in skill level.

honestly the plot sounds so cliche and doesn’t interest me, but like the cast and I feel like Wang ZiWen and Chen Xiao are both good enough to make this work.
