Gaming series The King’s Avatar 全职高手 released its first trailer today. Based on the novel of the same name, the series stars Yang Yang, Jiang Shuying, Lai Yumeng , Lai Yi, and Gao Hanyu as professional gamers.
Soooo…..When is season 2 of the anime coming out again?

Some ardent novel fans in China who didn’t hold high expectation of the drama are consoling themselves saying it is based on a bad fanfic. It’s unfortunate that the preview is only showing very cliched scenes.
Oh no. That is not a good trailer. Looks like I’ll have to try and hunt down the animated series somewhere.
It’s only a teaser trailer. The production hasn’t finished yet – they’re currently shooting the game scenes and still need to go through post-production once the filming is done. The final product will be more complete than what’s shown in this preview teaser.
Well, I now can’t use only the word “disappointed” to describe my feelings while seeing this one. I’m a big fan of the original novel and Yang ruined my dreams of a highly qualified live-action version.
Ummmmm I have super super high standards for this bc the novel is one of my favorites. So, color me NOT impressed?
To be honest, I don’t think super high standards are necessary to achieve that result.
Take out the leads, and everything about this looks so…cheap.
