I’m so happy Zhu Yilong and Bai Yu are finally getting widespread recognition thanks to Guardian, even though the show itself is of subpar quality. Zhu Yilong is currently filming modern drama My True Friend 我的真朋友 with Deng Lun and Angelababy, while Bai Yu is filming Republican mystery drama Detective L 绅探.

hehehe i kinda felt giddy with their chemistry! I’m so happy they’re getting amazing recognition. Due to censorships, so many novel adaptation dramas are suffering from narrative plot holes.
Bai Yu looks great in those BAZAAR photos. But the photos failed to capture Zhu Yi Long’s beautiful eyes.

There’s something very ’90s about Zhu Yilong, but not in a bad way. That’s the way the ’90s would have looked had they been any good, if you take my meaning.
The bait-and-switch dubbing of Guardian is making me dizzy, though.
