Sci-fi film The Pathfinder 拓星者 is the directorial debut of producer Zhang Xiaobei, so I have no idea what to expect. The film stars Song Yang, Qi Xi, Qu Jingjing, and Wang Lie. The film is shot on-location in Xinjiang with visuals that remind me of Mad Max.
That’s a lot of hair to tuck inside a helmet . . . but this movie does look good.
