The Lost Tomb spinoff Sea of Sand 沙海 released yet two more trailers in anticipation for its July 20th release date. The series stars Wu Lei as the protagonist, a high school’er who becomes entangled in a suspenseful adventure after meeting Wu Xie from The Lost Tomb series (Qin Hao). They’re joined by Yang Rong, Zhang Meng, Ji Chen, and Yu Hewei.

It looks good and I’ll have to watch it at some point, but, honestly, at this point I just dread anything coming from this franchise.
